Marine Training Center

The Marine Training Centre, which is under the ambit of the Ministry of Labour and Human Resource Development (MLHRD), provides training to I-Kiribati young boys and girls to become qualified seafarers.

Kiribati Institute of Technology

The Kiribati Institute of Technology was established in 1970, with its major purpose of providing skills that are needed by industries including the public service.

Fisheries Training Center

The Fisheries Training Centre (FTC) was established in 1989. It is a government owned Institute fully funded by the Government of Kiribati but also receive technical and financial assistance from development partners.
