The National Employment Register (NER) deals with registration issues for all vacancies within the Public Sector. In carrying out registration one of its core activities is to scrutinize applications ensuring that potential candidates are selected according to the Position Qualification Requirement set. The NER is also tasked to carry out temporary recruitment for relieving purposes utilizing a system put in place (data-base for job seekers) in which temporary relievers are selected from time to time when the need arises.
